Hi there. I'm considering buying Blazblue but I was just wondering if anyone could offer their opinions on which is the better package. I'm tempted to get the limited edition Calamity Trigger for the tutorial DVD that comes with it so that I can understand the game better but I know that Continuum Shift is a newer game (and thus, a better game, right?) but I heard that there is a tutorial system in Continuum Shift so which is better for starting out? I'd really prefer only getting one game so any opinions? Thanks

I'd go with continuum shift. Purely for the fact that itsa newer version of the game and is likely to have a more active community online.

Also, there is probably an abundance of informative character specific threads and tutorial videos available online to help you learn the game.

I got calamity trigger a while ago, its a really fun game.

Watching a tutorial dvd won't help very much. Fighting games require hands on training to increase your skills.

Go with the newer version and do training within the game.

Continuum Shift.

It's the sequel so more people will be playing and practice is key to becoming good at fighting games. Watching a DVD won't help at all.
