Hiya. I'm new to these forums, so please try and help me if you can. I'm having a hard time deciding if I should buy BlazBlue or Battlefield Bad Company for the Xbox 360. I'm looking at them mostly for online, but the singleplayer and/or local multiplayer is also a nice addition. Which is the better game overall? Which is better worth my money? Thanks for the help.

You could get both Bad Company and 1943 for about $35, which is almost half of what BlazBlue costs.

They are completely different games, so you should look for whatever it is you want more at the time. If I was on your position (I actually was in the morning, kind of) I would choose blazblue because there are a lot of shooters out there, and blazblue feels fresh and different, even comparing it to other fighting games.

Oh..thanks for the tip. I heard BC has good online, but I was worried that the online population is miniscule compared to CoD4 and/or Halo. Also the fact EA might cut off the servers at any time...but thanks.

Well Blazblue is the number one game out right now. BC isn't even on the list but then again it is old. Rent them both and see what you like. I'd get Cod Waw if I wanted a Shooter and Blaz if I wanted a fighter

Just try out the trial of BF 1943 and that is pretty much how Bad Company plays except its modern. I personally enjoyed both games. I would go with whatever you enjoy more. 2d fighters or FPS..

Blazblue. To put is simply, its awesome and worth alot more than 60 dollars to me.

To put it on my terms, Its like playing Uno With god while millions of celebrities of your favorite gender are serving you ice cream in their skimpiest outfits at a sports game party where the beer, koolaid, and pizza is free!

Oh yeah, and plus, its got good online play.

I haven't put a whole bunch into BlazBlue, but it seems like a solid fighter. But BC is an amazing single and multiplayer game. If you can, I'd go for both. BC is only $20 now

If you get Bad Company or 1942 or both, then just be aware that ea's servers are overfilled this week and maybe next week too. If you don't have live or, then don't buy either of those. The single player on Bad Company was only good for the cutscenes.

As of now, I only have about 5-6 days worth of Live. I will buy another year in about a month. Just wanted to know out of BC, 1943 and BB, which had the better/best online. Also, does BC/43 ever get.."boring" after a while? How many people are there online?

Hey there, i own both blazblue and bad company, both games are a ton of fun to play. to awnser your question bc does still have a decent amount of players online but its not like halo in that u can log in at 3am and find thousands of ppl online, most likley you'll end up with 5on5 or 4on4. during the day though and on weekends games tend to be full or mostly full, and the online action is definetly intense. i'd say the biggest diffrence from bc and other shooters is the mass amount of destruction u can employ. sniper in the window? blow up the building hes in. almost every gun has an explosive secondary fire of some sort. and if it dosent u get granades anyways. vehicle combat is also very well done, more so then say halo. You do die fast, if someone gets the drop on ya your dead for sure. its similar to cod in that fashion. Overall an excellent and fun shooter that shines in multiplayer and will probaly be around for another year or so. (until bc 2 anyways)

As for blazblue, its new so ofcourse there are tons of ppl to play with. the online is tough, be warned, u better pick a character and get pretty good with that character if u plan on winning any matches. (except for the occasional noob, ofcourse) in the line of 2d fighters that have suddenly appeared, i would say blazblue is the best. its not as frame or timing heavy as street fighter and instead replaces that emphasis with volume of attacks and style. there is also a feature where u can map your special moves to your right analog stick, saving u possible problems with the 360's d-pad. also on a side note, the first round of launch titles of blazblue are all limited addition, it comes with a soundtrack as well as a VERY useful tutorial showing u tons of combos with each character and lots of strategy u can use. I got the last limited addition at my local gamestop at no additional cost so if u are going to buy blazblue u better hurry or you'll miss out on some excellent extras.

so all and all both are excellent games and worthy of a buy, if i had to make a choice between the limited addition bb for $60 or the discounted bc at $20...i would buy BB, for 1on1 fighting that somehow is more intense then a rocket flying towards your face.

oops sorry for the bad spelling, been up all night:Pto awnser your other question, BC does seem to feel a bit boring after an hour or 2 of play. its not the kind where u can lose yourself in it for 6+ hours like u could with halo and cod.
