SF4 if you want to play me.

BlazBlue if you want to lose to my BFF, he's a monster.

I love BlazBlue but Street Fighter 4 is the best fighting game this year! No other fighting game can compete against it.....yet(maybe Tekken 6).

If you are a casual fighting fan, you may want to wait for Tekken 6 and see what you think of it. BlazBlu and SFIV are both great fighters, but Blaz offers a better single-player. Street Fighter's online community is likely to stay larger for longer. You may also want to check out Marvel vs. Camcom 2 on the marketplace. All it is missing is the Dreamcast controller.

Not a fan of either, but of the two SF4 is the best.

I wouldn't know. I am just assuming based on the SF name. You are not even sure to find Blaz in many stores, but you will damn sure find Street Fighter.

Both are going to have fairly high learning curves online, by the way.

I'd go blazblue

SFIV online got stale because everyone is ryu. Haha. I would get messages all the time because I played Sakura. I saw maybe 20 Sakura's in the 600 or so matches I played. The roster is big but the majority are neglected because Ryu and Sagat are much easier to play than the rest of the cast. Which is a shame. Maybe its changed I haven't played in 3 weeks.

Blazblue has a lot of variety. Each character is very unique which means you need to have 12 different strategies. and making these is very difficult. I am still learning and I have been playing since release. The game has a steep learning curve like SFIV so you will have to put in a lot of work for both of them. You can't go wrong with either. I think SFIV is cheaper. So if money is a factor go for SF. But if you can find a LE BB then I would get that amazing sound track.

Gamertag is never a good indication if a person has played a game or not. It may be an indication that they have friends, orther systems, multiple tags, etc.

I'm not very good at fighting games and I barely play them, but I enjoyed BlazBlue a lot more than SF4. Each of the characters play very differently and I find it more fun to pull off flashy combos.

i have no problem finding ranked matches in BB. And a lot of people do player matches. I usually see about 10 rooms with about 3 or so people in them in player. I have never had a problem a finding people. Although, I have had times when I ran into the same person mulitple times. I think I fought that same guy 6 times in a row? something like that.

Blazblue is a lot better than SF4.... sf4 is just plain boring fighting while blaz has a lot to offer.

About tekken 6 (some1 mentioned it) will be the years best fighting game no doubt.

I have both and I feel the SF4 online community is larger, by far. They're both great games, but each is a completely unique style of play.

yeah, but I have ran into that also in SF. DOing the regular ranked. CE mode is set up different since you move in tiers. If you beat play x. Player x moves back to the beginning and you move up the list. same with everyone else who won. So its hard to fight the same person. When you get into the top bracket there are usually just one or two games avaible. So if at that point it slims down but once you win or lose that top bracket match there is plenty to pick from.

And with BB its because there ranked is based off matching you closest to your level first in the quick match. The guy was level 47 and I was 48. We would both just hit quick search and ran into each other. When ever I do a custom search for ranked matches I see about 6 games of varying people. I am not picky about who I fight so I just do quick match.
