Blitz The League

I was playing Blitz for N64 the other day and was reminded of what a great game it was. I know that they came out with one for 360, and i know it received bad reviews. But I just want to know, does it stay true to the Blitz formula that made it so fun. You know, ridiculous hits, jumping over people, incredible speed and late hits. Thanks.

It does have the arcadey feel of what you described, but the tone is different from the previous games, plus some other changes in the game too.

The old blitz games during the PS1 days were THE BEST. They were more over the top. The late hitz were so much fun to do.
