trust meDONT GET BLUE DRAGON. its an o.k. game but man theres soemthing about it i didn't like, and i sold my copy to someone. i wasted 64 dollars(tax) on this game and than i end up hating it, i played only about 5 hours in and i could take it anymore. if i were you go to the reviews for blue dragon and see what's up with it. enteral sonita seems much better game overall
I highly recommend Eternal Sonata. It's visually clean and beautiful and the music is spectacular. It's Chopin! The cut scenes are nice to watch and the battle system is quite nice too.
If your looking for a great JRPG then Blue Dragon isit. I have over 30 hours into it with plenty more to do, sure worth the money IMO. It kind of reminds me of an updated/advanced dragon warrior game.

Updated dragon warrior, exactly what I was thinking. I think ES is the better overall game, but I'm 10 hours into Blue Dragon and its a fine game. I know why everyone dislikes it, people expect new and evolved games and BD isbasically an old console jrpg built from the ground up on a 360. And if you look at it as such its not a bad game, remember the plot of FFI or dragon warrior, hell DW had an arguably non existent plot line.
Based on the demos, Eternal Sonata is my favorite. Blue Dragon didn't seem like a bad game, it just lacked the charm that I find necessary in a JRPG. Eternal Sonata had lots of charm and the graphics were really colorful and vibrant which really added to the charm and character of the game.
