the only thing keeping me from buying this game is the lack of independently inverting both axis. in the demo, if you inverted the camera, it inverted both horizontal and vertical. i would like to only invert up/down rather than left/right, so i was wondering if they either added an option in the full version or fixed it so it was up/down only.

from memory you can change the vertical and/or horizontal camera

i'm sure someone can make sure because i'm currently at work

but why would that keep you from buying a game?

blue dragon (imo) is fantastic

just a major camera issue that would affect my gameplay, i play every game with vertical inversion. if they are both inverted it messes me up and frustrates me :P

I posted this exact thread about 2 months back, no replies. Anyway, you cannot independently invert the x and y axis, as you said, it's kind of a package deal. It almost stopped me from playing it. Heres what I noticed after about 10 minutes of gameplay though, you literally NEVER have to adjust the y-axis, the camera sort f auto adjusts that okay. Obviously you need to constantly move around and adjust the x-axis.

So I set the settings so that the x-axis was comfortable, and I believe I played the entire 80 hours without ever needing to even use the y-axis to adjust the camera.

I playing at the moment (on the 3rd disk) and both myself and everyone I have spoken to says that the 6 it got was a bit harsh personally i would give it an 8. It's a big commitment being such a long game but well worth it!!! But though I wouldn't get this if your a GP whore you can (and prob will) finish the game with about 100 GP's unless your willing to spend ALOT of time with it ... but as far as JRPG's go this is right up there and a well presented little game. Hope that helps
