Theres no way a blu-ray add on is coming to xbox 360, its to late in its life and they cant start making games on blurays. The next xbox that comes out will probably have a blu ray player so they can make bigger games with 50GB of space.
I heard that that they will make a blu ray player for the 360.XxElitexXGamerx
No it won't happen. Its in Microsoft's intrest that Movie downloads/Streaming video wins out. IMO Microsoft supporting HD DVD was whole conspiracy, there were even rumors that MS had spent well over $100 million on Paramount jumping ship and supporting HD DVD, which we all know prolonged the war when it looked like it was over early last year.
I think they just wanted HD DVD to survive as long as possible so that people wouldn't get on either format and instead wait it out, and now movie downloads became a valid alternative. Now even Netflix might join up with Microsoft to provide the ability to stream movies over Xbox Live.
Plus there have been so many advances in codecs/distribution and broadband. That HD Media (720p) can be streamed directly with no time to download with a average broadband connection. Hulu, and Apple are allready doing it.
