Borderlands DLC: (The Underdome) is the worst. dlc. ever.

I'm on hour 6 of killing mindless waves of enemies for a measly 125 gamerscore as we speak. I came here to post to take a break from the monotony that is the Underdome DLC. I know it got a 6 here, but I didn't think it would be that bad. But now after playing it, I think it should have scored lower. There is nothing special about it, they just made 3 maps and throw waves of stupid enemies at you with weak mutators that barely have any effect in your ability to kill anything. In fact I've only found them to be annoying, not challenging, like when you get both speed increases and it becomes annoying to track down and shoot the enemy.

I'm doing this DLC solo because after my friend who I've been playing the game with did the first 3 arenas, he said screw this. So ya. this is horrible and I just needed to vent. This DLC is HORRIBLE.

I Dont have the game, but my friend does. he says that he likes the robot one. The zombie one looks good though.

Yeah, it was pretty mind-bogglingly boring.

Even that was better than playing a DLC that had you kill the same enemies over and over again for two hours in a row four times. That's right! Almost eight hours of killing the same enemies, who spawned in the same spots, in the same area, for eight hours.

I'll take the Horse Armor.

it is actually fun when u have 4 people running around killing every thing and every1..... plus a 42 slot bank really comes in handy when u dont wanna lug 30 zridians around

Yeah, I got this DLC to play with a friend, we fell out and now I have no-one to play it with! [/awkward] I got it on sale for 400 points though so it's not too bad, still annoying though.

I'll argue how much fun the DLC was because I did it with four other people and at one point I almost fell asleep. The Bank is actually quite useful, though, and the two skill points you got were nice. Still, it wasn't worth the effort to get the skill points, and $10 for a bank account on a video game is overpriced.

Well the perks you get like the bank and skill points are nice, but the actual gameplay of this DLC is horrible. I just finished the 2nd large tournament, so only 3 hours left and I'm done with it forever. I told my friend if sometime down the road he really wants these achievements, he's on his own. I'll never be doing it again.

I just can't believe how boring it is. It's just the laziest designed DLC I've seen.

That's a shame. It was a hell of a game. The other DLC's were very good. Top notch.

They released this because everyone on their website wanted an area type game, so this is what they got. Just because YOU didn't like it doesn't mean it is bad. It is one of the best DLC once you hit max level since they still scale up to you.

Wow what a monumental waste of time. I just completed the last large arena, and there wasn't even a cutscene or anything signifying you were done. So fail. Oh well, at least I got 125gs right? :roll:

Got "small tournament" and then shot myself in the head three times. I couldn't do it.

I just picked up Boarderlands today and when I do get to the DLC I guess I'll skip this one.

Just by tallying in my head, I'd say over the past day with me doing those achievements partly with a friend and then starting over by myself, I killed over 6000 enemies in those stupid arenas. /cringe :cry:

Sure, the "Small Tournament" achievement isn't as much as 6K enemies, but you wanna know what the kick in the nuts is? You get NO experience from the monsters. ZERO. Nadda. Zip. Zilch. It's so dumb lol.

Ya, the no XP was a total let down, and then for me at least, sometimes loot fell through the floor at the end of rounds. So dumb.

ill admit out of all the dlc that was by far the worst, if they would have allowed xp and counted the kills towards wep proficiancy it wouldnt have been that bad... but it was still fun with four friends and a totaly maxed out character... i wish i wouldnt have sold borderlands so i could have gotten the clap trap dlc :(
