This is a build I've been thinking about applying to my soldier character in Borderlands. http://www.borderlandsthegame.com/skilltree/roland/#01555005550050005050000

I'm wondering if this would be a good build for later on in the game.

I would think putting a few points in grit would be nice...crimson lance hurt like mofos. Are you playing solo? cauterize would be good if ur in co-op

I'd go with this...

http://www.borderlandsthegame.com/skilltree/roland/#01555005000000000555000

It's a lvl 40 build.

This build is pretty self-sufficient and will be great for when your friends finally do jump on (cauterize will be loved by all)

use mainly assault rifles because with the skill you get a 45% magazine size bonus so putting more than one point into overload is a serious overkill. Also once you get a good amount of shields, those shield regen skills will come in seriously handy by yourself. Also the bullet resistance and health regen skill i think are invaluable for someone who is going to play SP most of the time, cause you will be absorbing all the hits and will need to be able to stay and fight for a little while
