Do you expect borderlands to be better than ODST

It would probably be a better idea to create this after the release date of Borderlands.. Obviously some people will have it early but I doubt the majority of people do.
I think Borderlands would be better but I haven't played either so what do I know. I really like rpgs, leveling up and finding loot, and I think Borderlands will have a lot more replay value especially since I already have the all Halo 3 multiplayer maps.
ouch, why do you say that? have you played odst?every game is better than ODST. except darkest days. that game is horrible.

It probably will Halo 3 ODST only scored an 83. I can see Borderlands being a high 8 to low 9 but only time will tell.Borderlands will have better overall reviews than halo ODST.

I expect it to be much better because I think ODLC is junk and I think Borderlands looks sweet. So yes, I do expect Borderlands to be better.
Borderlands is a co-op rpg. ODST is a straight-up fps. I don't expect it to even be able to be properly compared.Do you expect borderlands to be better than ODST

[QUOTE="MissMorphine"]Yea, ODST set the bar pretty low for what's allowed as a full retail commercial game on a console now. And that's including all the Bratz/Petz/etc. on the Wii. coming from a person, who according to his gamertag, has not even played itevery game is better than ODST. except darkest days. that game is horrible.

I really love ODST first off. The campaign had a great atmosphere and going back through it with friends was a blast as well. Firefight is the best Horde variant out there I think too. So I doubt I'll enjoy Borderlands as much, but then again I haven't played it. I will say thought that from what I've seen the setting doesn't really resonate with me. I watched the quick look on Giant Bomb and I thought the game looked really bland. Like I said though, that is a really uninformed opinion because I haven't played the game, but it doesn't look very interesting to me from what I've seen so far.

The setting they showed was just one early part of a large game. There is variety as it goes along, like snowy areas, military inastallations. garbage dump, caves, etc.
coming from a person, who according to his gamertag, has not even played itchaoscougar1The **** would I spend $60 on that POS? sorry, but you must have me confused with one of those stereotypical Halo Fanboys that would pay full retail to suck Master Chief's nonexistent schlong. I know full well what bungie tried to pull with ODST, and so far none of the in-game footage available has proven to me that ODST is even worth a rental, much less a purchase at any price.
well i liked osdt, a solid game if not great, not really interested in borderlands at this time, nothing about it has grabbed me
