i think you will find hd is winning 2-1. sony is pumping as many titles they possibly can out to compete give it another 6 months and you will see the diffrence goto amazon there are loads of hd movies to buy blockbusters are sony loversÂ

Every major retrail stats show Blu-ray outselling HD DVD, I really don't think the whole world is in a giant conspiracy to kill HD DVD. Even the videoscan charts show BluRay selling more. It ain't just BlockBuster.
i have not bought an hd dvd add on for the fact that i kno the 360 is gon make a blu ray add on soon n hd dvd is not gonna win the war....blu ray has alot more exclusives while hd only has 1
i do feel that blu-ray is going to win out, but right now i think that hd-dvd definately has the better movie selection. i think that will change though once disney and pixar start releasing their back catalog exclusively on blu-ray. pixar needs to get those animated movies out to show what blu-ray is really capable of.

proof???!?! cuz from what i read, ever since ps3 (the cheapest blu-ray player) came out blu-ray software sales sky rocketed nearly 80% (if not 80%) and has been kicking a$$ and taking names ever since

I really doubt that. It's all about money. If Hd-dvd fails in the long run, then you can bet that they will begin selling the BD add-on for the 360. Show me the money!Â

IMO Blu-Ray is winning by a long shot... but neither beat DVD. I walk into wal-mart and I see blu-ray. I tell my friends about HD-DVD and they say what's that, then I tell them it's a DVD with better picture and they say, "Like Blu-Ray?"...

Its a fact and the hd dvd 300 is going to have more stuff in it then the blu-ray 300. Yep if you go to ign on the dvd section they have full specs and cover art for each format of 300 and the hd dvd version gets all the love!
