Ha-ha.
But seriously, I can't get this: My 360 is the Falcon, Pro model that I purchased two years ago, and it's still running -- and I really abuse my 360, when it comes to gaming time.
Don't you have insurance for the console, though? If you bought your Halo: Reach theme console the day it launched, it shouldn't have more than a couple of months to it, and most console's come with at least a year of guarantee.
Both my Xbox's are still going strong, an Elite and a Reach.
You guys are overheating your consoles, they need to be vertical with plenty of space.

You're kidding me, right? That debate's already been done and won: placing your console on a vertical stance prevents it from fully ventilating, since the largest and most important ventilation grid is on the bottom of the 360. That, and discs get damaged (not significant damage, but those small strikes on the surface) easily if you place them in a vertical console.
Place your 360 horizontally, at an open space -- I leave a foot between my console's back (horizontal, so the part where you plug the cables) and the wall, and more than 6' between him and the ceiling. The lower grid has something around 2 and 3 feet between it and the other part of the wall, and the power source is, on a smaller scale, also not adjacent to the wall or in any covered up place. If you follow this setup, I'm sure you'll reduce the risk of overheating one of your 360's.
