You all must know whats going on and I feel that its very wrong that an honest individual will lose his job for expressing his opinion(which is his JOB).

I think its complete BS to fire a man for doing his job with credibility but I paid damn $60 for this game so Im gonna keep playing it.

If Jeff got fired over his review, I'll be awfully pissed. He was easily my favorite reviewer, not only on this site, but overall.goallie

He gave kane and lynch a 6 and GS fired him because they had some sort of endorsement deal with edios.

omg that is such bull crap! i said it and I called it correctly. i said that whatever game gamespot advertised the most they gave it the high scores and the ones that are actually good but arent advertised they get low scores. wow i never thought i would be right on that one. what are the chances?Darkzero6x2

Its obvious that was the case its just I always figured Jeff was in on it because I never agreed with his reviews they are also like +/- 1 from what I tend to think a game should be. But thats probably how the vast majority of video game journalism sites, magazines, shows work.

i didn't like the guys reviews well more his style i guess i don't take much account into scores it's their reasons and stuff that i read.

sucks he lost his job though. Shouldn't he be able to like i dunno sue them for firing him over something like this? If not that also sucks.

i love the game so whatever im gonna keep playing it as well.

Wonder what the mods are going through right now this is a precarious situation. To squelch talk of this would only worsen things and likely cause a backlash. But they are likely dying to just stop all talk of this and make it go away.Ket87

Are we really complaining about the loss of jeff gerstmann? Sure he has been around at gamespot for a long time, but his reviews are garbage and always will be. Anything to keep his disgusting face of my video reviews is a plus in my book justinblair2

Whether or not I like his reviews is not the point. The point is the reason he was fired. Was does that say about CNET and GS? It says that all they care about is advertisement revenue rather than journalistic integrity. I rather have Jeff reviews that I don't agree with rather than good paid for reviews. And who are they kidding about K&L. 6 is TOO HIGH. It's a 3.5 at least.
