IM SO MAAAD! microsoft send me a new console after my first one died, and now the new one have just crashed again, the ring of death appears, i think the error number is 0110, what the #%!& is this? why a brand new console with less than 10 hours of play does this?! i just received it last week! i cant understand it, we pay a lot of bucks for a piece of crap?mrfifa
0110 GPU Error this is usually caused by cold solder joints where the GPU connects to the mainboard. see error 0102 for more detailed information. I found this at http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=484726
i have a May 2006 manufactured one and it's been running great and have only had the red ring a couple times but once i took off the intercooler it hasn't sinced. and those red ring incidents were only on for like 5 seconds.MaddenBowler10thats propabaly cuz ur power brick wasnt fully connectted in

well....
ur probably right lol.
i was fed a story about the powerbrick needing to be plugged directly into a wall outlet and not a power strip or surge protector because it damages the console over time. I think it had more to do with a loose heat sink clamp. I could hear rattling when i moved my console. herbie12282
.....that might not be good.

your suppose to, theres a sensor in all 360's that tells the console whether its horizontal or verticle so it knows in which quadrants to flash the lights.....if you dont believe me, check out xbox.com
I dont think the falcon chip ones are any better because my 360 ( bought 12/24/07 ) already got RROD last week but it still wroks. Well it got RROD then i displugged everything from the back then plugged everything back in and it worked.battalionwars13
I did that, but nothing, should i try the towel trick?

No i heard that just messes up your 360 more. I would just call and meybe the next one they give you should hopefully work.

nah. the towel trick only brought mine back to life for about a day. i tried it figuring i've already gotten the RRoD, what else could it hurt? It did work but it went back to the RRoD the next day. And the rattling sound was most definitely a loose heatsink clampand not a sensor.
