You can bet on it fellas, just watch the XPlay preview. It will be epic.

Not the best, because MoH and BFBC2 win that. But it looks promising from the whole "Multiplayer campain" idea.
Halo Reach will be better. Brink looks good, but the parkour style gameplay is gimmicky, & I don't see it having a massive impact on the shooter gameplay. I'm pretty sure I watched a clip here on Gamespot where the developers said that many will choose not to use the parkour elements. Still, a neat idea though.
I think Brink looks cool, but "best multiplayer FPS of 2010"? I'm going to have to agree with the guy who said Halo: Reach begs to differ. As much as you dislike Halo, you're going to have to face the facts that it will dominate when it releases, both critically and commercially. That's just what Halo does.
Love how you know a game is going to be better when you know exactly what your getting with Reach, while Brink will be a new concept. Lets see Reach same Halo1 gameplay now with executions OMG THAT IS THE COOLEST MOST ORIGINAL THING I HAVE EVER HEARD. Reach is going to be HALO 3 mixed with ODST with executions whoopdy doo and that what it makes me think of doo, doo.Halo Reach will be better.

Theres more 10 year olds in COD than halo

[QUOTE="Agent-Zero"]Brink was also the name of a DIsney made for TV movie about roller blading....PapadrachI liked that movie... Team Pup n Suds? I don't know if that is right, but if it then it is kind of sad that I can still remember that.

Brink is innovative. Parkour in first person isn't new (See Mirrors Edge), but adding it to a competitive FPS is. With that said, in an FPS environment, I really don't see it having that much of a positive impact on gameplay. You left out the rest of my post in the quote, but when the developers themselves have stated that the parkour isn't needed to be competitive, it sounds like a neat gimmick.
But yes, I know, to an extent, what I'm getting with Halo Reach. Executions are one of the things I'm iffy about, not hyping, but their optional. Loadouts are a big addition, as well as the large differences between Elites & Spartans, new game types. Smaller additions include new weapons, much more customization to your Spartan/Elite, new maps & updated graphics.
Even if the parkour idea had to be used to be competitive, & you had people flipping, sliding & jumping around everywhere, I think most would rather conventional, solid shooter such as Halo.
well its looks like it could be good but i highly doubt its gonna be the best FPS of 2010 i mean we already have BFBC2 and i doubt Brink will be better than that and Halo is looking really good this year so yeah. Also the free running looks cool i guess but how useful could that be in a firefight.

No, I didn't forget. That's also not what I was even trying to say. Quit hating on Halo because it's Halo and it's the "popular" thing to do. Maybe there are a lot of 10 year olds that play Halo, so what? Who's fault is that anyway? Is it Bungie's? Most certainly not, as they have not hesitated in slapping the box with an M for Mature rating ever since the original. Halo haters just seem like they're in denial, and I find it to be kind of sad. Why make scathing remarks about how it's "over-hyped" and "over-rated" simply because you have obviously had some bad experiences on Live? Did a 10 year old whup your ass? They'll do that if you're not careful.
Everyone is so quick to hate Halo, one of the biggest videogame franchise of all time, and they are reluctant to praise the franchise for what it has accomplished in the industry. Need I say that, if Halo didn't exist, FPS' on consoles would not be nearly as prominent and successful as they are today? Would there even be a Brink? Would Call of Duty have ever made that transitition to the TV instead of staying on a computer monitor? Would Sony have haphazardly put together their own FPS franchise claiming it to be a "Halo killer" (Killzone)? Don't be so quick to jump on the hate wagon. I know it's hard to admit it, but the videogame landscape would be much different, for better or for worse, if Halo did not exist.
Yup. Parkour = no win.Halo Reach will be better. Brink looks good, but the parkour style gameplay is gimmicky, & I don't see it having a massive impact on the shooter gameplay. There's no way to tell right now just how good it will be(gameplay-breaking faults tend to be something you need to experience, rather than *see* ina video preview), but I will say that Brink is probably the most promising shooter coming out soon. Halo:Reach looks great, but there's no denying its going to be more of the same, and while that may be just fine for many, others may want something fresh, and Brink could be it.
In fact, I will go out on a limb and say that Brink could be *the* next big FPS game. People writing it off so quickly no doubt either dont know what they're talking about or are just a fanboy and are insecure about any game challenging 'their' game's greatness.
Brink was also the name of a DIsney made for TV movie about roller blading....Agent-Zero
they also made one years back called "Double Teamed". hada pair of hot blondes in basketball gear on the cover ;)
brink will be better than reach, ive never been a halo fan so it isnt that hard to make a game thats better for me

This isn't about what's better for you, it's about what's going to be the better game
Even if you don't like something you have to give credit where credit is due and when it comes to the whole "Sci-Fi" shooter realm Halo Reach is going to win hands down not only for this year but probably the next few
When it comes to overall multiplayer I don't even see Brink beating out Borderlands (the game that it "borrewed" from heavily) let alone the heavy hitters like Halo and Battlefield

Whaaat? I didnt know you could play the Single Player campaign against real players on Borderlands, I didn't know Borderlands had 7 player co-op. Hell, I didnt even know Borderlands had REAL objective base PVP multiplayer.ryuz4kee
No, Brink has added a few things after completely ripping off Borderlands, that's true lol
I just see it as a Borderlands knock off in style and atmosphere
