Brink patched and free DLC coming

Bethesda and Splash Damage have put out a patch that fixes the lag issues associated with the online play in this game. They are limiting players with low bandwidth to 8 player matches, while people with higher bw can play the regular 16 player version. They are making the first DLC release free to make up for the problems players have had with the online gameplay.

I think it might take more then that to get public opinion back.

It's good to see but a lot of damage has been done

An update can't fix the graphical issues and the lame gameplay.

Yes, with a good chunk of review sites grading the game already and the way that preorders work a good section of the gaming world has seen or heard about the failings of the game.

This helps but the issues weren't all just with the online system, like I said this game has a large hurdle in front of it

Took a few hours to get into but I agree a game shouldn't take that long to get into.

Exactly. The patch really didn't do anything, the game is still a mess.

Good thing a patch is coming.

Glad to hear this news. I'm sure there is still a lot of lagging issues that need to be fixed though.

Not buyin it BUT I'm sure the company will learn of their mistakes, it seems like they really listen to their fans and great things happen when people listen to their fans, so I'll be lookin forward to the sequel
