Broken 360 Controller

Hello,

I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes. My 360 controller was knocked off a rather large ledge and landed on it's left bumper. Now the left bumper no longer works. The "click" sound you get when hitting the bumper is gone and it's rather loose. My question is to anyone who has ever opened up a controller before. Is this something that can be repaired or is it essentially a broken bumper? Thanks for any help.

The bumper basically goes from the bumper part to a button nearer to the center of the controller, sounds like the bumper part broke off from the part that leads to the button. Should just take it apart and see for yourself (really isn't that difficult just look up a guide). But that's what it sounds like at least.

Thanks I just needed to know if it was even worth trying to open.
