I have two broken controllers, one wired and one wireless. The wireless ones B button doesn't work while the wired one constantly turns off and on. I'm thinking about trying to sell them to gamestop so I can buy another wired controller. Will they take the broken controllers? If so how much will I get for each?

Thanks in advanced.

BTW just to save space, my 360s disc tray has been acting up (not ejecting, a few taps on top helps it come out). Would I be able to send it in and get it fixed? Is it worth doing? How much would it cost?

My wired controller also broke, kinda sucks but I imagine it's out of warranty.

As for the disc tray, that also happens to me, albeit verty rarely. I would, just to be safe, always take out your discs after use just in case it gets permanently stuck

Did you have to give them the barcode or product number on the box the controller came in? Or did they just send you a new one no questions asked? I'm only asking because one of my wireless controllers broke a while back and I didn't think they would send me a new one.

Depends who you get working at the Gamestop store, if it were me, I would test the controllers there and then in the store. I don't think you'd get much for them.

They asked if my 360 console was registered in my name and asked for the serial number. I can't remember if they asked for the number of the controller.

I didn't ask for a new one. I just phoned and said my controller was broke. He said he'd send a new one and I should send the broke one to them. I live in the UK but it should be the same for everyone.

It was just after the 360 launched in 2005 so I don't know if anything has changed since then. Just phone and try. You've got nothing to lose.
