I bought this and im not impressed with it, its like a cheap nasty rip off of GoW. Suppress, cover, flank, repeat....boring. But alot of people like it so i guess its all down to personal choice.
this would be the first time I have seen a demo get releasted for the 360 a week after the PS3 got it. its usely the other way around, dam live is slipping lol.
After playing the demo i'm glad i didnt buy the game. I thought the graphics would be good, but i was wrong. Character models are alright, but the environment looks horrible.
Good lord the graphics are terrible though player models look nice. Awkward animations at times, moving under cover towards the edge of cover is clunky. The commands work well but combat isn't as satisfying or gory as I wanted. That said I still liked it, I'll rent it for the SP.
I played it from start to finish and coming from someone who plays a ton of these games I thought it was excellent. (I'm talking about the single player mind you)I don't think the demo will give you what the game has to offer. I'm a huge Call of Duty & Gears fan and it didn't disappoint. I think someone was commenting on the cover mechanic and comparing it to Gears of War. Brother's in Arms was doing that before Gears was thought.

I thought that game was excellent, I think it is just because some people expect every game today to be a run and gunner. The story is real immersive, the cover system is great, the voice overs are top notch, its a real fun game.
Everyone listen up. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. I have a gamefly account, and I beat this game in two days. It has 10 missions that are above average in terms of excitement. The graphics look really good on 1080i display. The gameplay is solid. However the game is a repeat in strategy. Take cover, have one squad supress, the other squad flank. Advance and repeat. I bea the game at 20 minutes per each level. The multiplayer is horendous. I will not even talk about it. It is just broken.

I don't know why people are saying the graphics suck. There are occasional pop-in and the grass detail is bland but everything else graphics-wise was great.

I've been waiting for this demo for a while now as I was very anxious to try it out and now that I have, I can safely say that I enjoyed it quite a lot. Went through the demo 3 times and that convinced me to buy the game. Not new of course, but if I find it for half the price I'm definitely picking it up. I do see what some people mean in terms of graphics though but I honestly don't mind them. The controls do take some getting used to, as normally the Left Trigger brings up your ironsight so... yeah... in the first few firefights I was sending my unit all over the place :P I do love the sound (guns feel fantastic!) and the gameplay. The gore does seem a bit excessive though, even though I admit I watch with glee when the kill cam kicks in (or whatever it's called) By the way, the Resistance member you meet with totally does not have a Dutch accent.
I really like it. I think its one of the better single player shooters to get released. That said, on the normal difficulty its pretty easy - i am sure the other games are harder than this? I managed to assualt 3 tanks last night single handed, and I was pretty drunk. I think its going to be over pretty quickly though - I seem to be blasting though the levels pretty fast.
The tank missions are a little different....but I actually think that they are ok. Not as bad as I thought they'd be.
The real let down, and the thing that makes alot of games a "buy" rather than a "rent" is the multiplayer. Now I didn't buy this game for its multiplayer, but I still think they could of done a better job that what they have done here. Its worse than bad, its down right broken. Lag fest (even though everyone has a good ping) and glitchy.

Good thing i cancelled my preorder before release. The graphics are terrible, but the gameplay is kind of fun. This game had so much potential!

I finally got to actually play the game that ive been eyeing since E3 06... And the final product, judging from the demo, is pretty bad. I swear the graphics looked like a Xbox 1 game :(
If GearBox REALLY is making Halo 4 for the next Xbox, please dont go down the same road as youve did with HH!
