Wouldn't it be great, if xbox live had a browser, Windows owns IE so why not put it on therefore we wouldn't have to turn on our computers just to get onto gamespot, i mean wii have one so why can't the xbox 360 have one?

We should start a petition or sommit?

Who agrees with me?

We need a browser on xbox 360!

Actually, no.  It just seems like such a useless feature, I'm glad they didn't include it.

I always said that the XBOX could benefit from some sort of browser but many people deem in unecessary. I believe that it would be convienient because if I needed a walkthrough, I could just look it up on my XBOX and flip back and fourth between the browser and the game. Or if I wanted to post on GameSpot, I could do it straight from my XBOX without having to get up and go to the PC. ^.^

It can never hurt to include; I know they have more than enough money to develop it.

Plus not to metnion PS3 has a browser and Wii has Opera.  MS could be insane and rather than use IE, they could use Firefox and people would love that.  ( The chances of that happening is extremely low, but if it did it would be cool! :P )

exactly, I never use the Wii browser, so I know I wouldn't use a browser on my 360. I have a computer for surfing the internet, my game console is for gaming

Yeah I think it would be a good idea, just give Microsoft some time, and if the PS3 and Wii's browsers catch on Microsoft will create one, I almost garuntee it.

I know I would never use it. I hate typing a 5 word msg with the joypad letalone a whole web address. If the demand is there MS will make one, but I don't think the demand is there.

Much easier to just have a laptop open on a side table or in front of you. Unless I had a wireless keyboard and mouse option, then I don't want to be browsing the tubes on the 360.

Would you also like the viruses that are sure to be made after such a browser is created? I guarantee you'll see some for the Wii and PS3 in a bit, and there already is at least one for the PSP browser...

For everyone who says its not neccessary, who cares if they put it in. It would probably come as a free update, and after a few systems are bricked and they fix the update, it would be a great convenience feature for anyone who wants it. It can't hurt, and it would be great for walkthroughs or gamespot.
