Got mine pre-ordered....ordered it last night actually. I think that this game looks like it will be fun. It is definitely a different looking kind of third person shooter from the usual fare. The grotesque, half decomposed looking enemies, the post apocalyptic setting and plot, and of course the fine as hell, witchy chick with a big gun completely sold me on this title.
I do not much expect it to get between a 6.7 and a 7.4 here on GS, but who cares? If I had a nickel for every game which I loved, but got "bad reviews", from the "critics", I would be rich. Same goes for books, music and movies as well.
Bottom line....If you let the critics or popular opinion decide what you should and should not like, then it just goes to show that you are too afraid to think for yourself, and that you are afraid of what others think of you. It also means that you are missing out on some things which you would probably really enjoy from your own stand point....which is the only stand point that should matter as it relates to you and what you like.   Â
