BUNGIE'S new game announcement on E3 2008??...

Bungie took YEARS to put out a single game on the 360. I doubt they would announce anything this soon after breaking from Microsoft. DZBricktop

I'm curious as to why you two feel this way. On a basic gameplay level, Halo 3 is an improvement in almost every way. Is it because of your nostalgic feelings for Halo (I feel that way about OoT in comparison to tTP; sure, the old is quite dated but it was the right game at the right time for me)?

Its probably that, because the thing that I liked of Halo CE was how he made me feel because maybe it was the first game that I played on that generation, but still, the grafics in Halo 3 are not the best, the Spartans are a bit weird in online...

The reason people say and honestly are right when they say that Halo:CE is the best thing Bungie has done is because how it took console FPS to the next level, it took it up another notch after Perfect Dark and Golden Eye on the 64 introduced the genre.

Not a pred. (not really a sequel) it just takes place later in that universes time-line. Not to mention the MARATHON MAN achievment & the SECURITY armor 8)

I think they are going to announce something at PAX.

Isn't ENSEMBLE making Halo Wars, NOT Bungie? Anyways, I think they're going to announce something at the PAX convention. I read it on their website. Hopefully it will be going back to their roots, Halo CE :PsToK3d

Yes Ensemble is making Halo Wars not Bungie and also Bungie has nothing to do with the Peter Jackson project either, thats all Jackson and Microsoft. If I am not mistaken one of the Bungie Halo leads left Bungie to work for Microsoft so he could keep working on the Halo projects.

Agree to disagree. Halo 3 was hella good.

What I like about Halo 3 are the variety of things you can do. You can hit the single player campaign, or do it co-op with up to 4 people, and it has a solid multiplayer online. Not to mention, the huge game matches. Those never fail to disappoint especially amongst friends. My only quam with Halo 3 is the graphics. I think Bungie fell asleep when they decided not to go with native 720p. It's Halo 3, of course graphics are important. It could very well be, the last Halo game in the series. Hopefully, they make it up to us with Halo 4 and surprise us. The Halo 3 ending left it wide open. IMO.

Amen to that. Halo: Ce was exceptionally good. Halo 3 is just an average shooter core with lots of polish.

if you ask me i think halo 3 was the most OVER RATED game EVER. the first halo got what it deserved. i didnt play halo 2 so i cant say much on that. but halo 3. yes its a good game in all but not near as good as everyone says it is i mean hello there are more games out there than halo 3 people. the first halo had a WAY better single player campaine than halo 3. and i hated the multiplayer in halo 3 it got old very quick and just wasnt that good. when i seen the review and the hype for halo 3 i was expecting a mind blowing game that would make me want to through all my other game out the window but i didnt get that. i got a good game with boring online and a average single player. id give the game about a 8.2
