I feel almost ripped off for those 800 MS points when the DLC took mere seconds to download, hinting that it simply unlocked data that was already in the game rather than downloading anything new. All I get is a mode where I have to take turns!? I wanted some neck and neck split screen racing through Paradise City!

It's an outrage I say! An outrage!

Who's with me?

i wish it had split screen too..

but considering how criterion games has been supporting the game pretty consistantly with free content before i dont mind paying a little bit for this.

Yeah I would have rather paid for the Bikes Add On than for this..

I hate how split screen gaming is dying. It still is the ultimate way to play. It's much more enjoyable and personal to have the friends round and taunt eachother in person rather than through a headset.

I would disagree with that statement, and I have a feeling that many would, including Criterion. I can see how split screen could be fun, but having your entire screen filled is a lot better than some friend sitting next to you.....to me anyway.

Yeah I agree; this DLC would have been a complete waste of money had I decided to buy it. Shame on you for not researching what it was actually going to have before buying it, though.

When I first heard about this DLC I was sure it would have 2 player split-screen and the 8 player stuff was the crash mode from past games, unfortunately that was not the case, and not really worth the pricetag imo.

split screen gaming is not dying. you just are fictonising your memories. look back as far as you like, split screen was and has never been a feature of most games. they are still shed loads that use it,. around the same percentage as before. you should always research dlc before buying it so you know whats on offer. i for one cannot fault the burn out paradise dlc, they have put out so much good free dlc. so if the paid one aint all that , at least the free ones are. i saw it and thought about buying it but i couldnt work out what it was for so i held back my points and just waiting for gta instead. i dont think any games will offer split screen as DLC. split screens either a part of the game engine or its not

If you consider paying 800MS for all the updates so far then it seems good value, but when you realise it is just a tiny download unlocking something you already have in the latest large patch, you do feel a bit cheated. It's certainly not the first time EA have done this, where Collector's Edition upgrades, or new car packs were equally tiny, just unlocking content already on the disc

you really should've been a better consumer/buyer and researched the dlc before buying it if u feel ripped off. How do you feel ripped off if the party pack included everything Criterion said it would?!? It's not like they left out anything they promised .. I went on this website to find out exactly all the new features included.. I realized it wasn't worh 800 ms points so i just downloaded the update... With a restart option I am satisfied.. Reading is fundamental, u should try it next time before spending your money

The entire point of that DLC was to "PASS THE CONTROLLER" not split screen. They said that hundreds of times before it was released. If you feel ripped off then it's your own fault for not doing enough research.

Yeah, when I did the research and saw this I just sighed really hard and said, well, I guess if I want to have a fun burnout party I'll get back out Burnout 3... this DLC party thing is a complete waste...
