Buying a 360, looking for great multiplayer games ;)

Hey there, i'm buying a 360 soon, and as a i only seriously game on my PC, it's going to be for fun enjoyable multiplayer gaming with my friends and/or siblings. Are there any games such as Time Splitter's 2/3, Gauntlet series etc on the 360? All game's need to be 3 player on the console, it doesn't matter to me if 3 can play through LIVE. I'm thinking of purchasing Fifa 09, Madden, a good wrestling game but i would also really appreciate your suggestions. The game's dont need to have great scores, hell i don't care if they get a 4.0 on the review rating as long as they provide good replayable mulitplayer fun.

Halo 3, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty World at War. Three excellent 3+ person shooters. Also NHL 09 is excellent if your into hockey and or sports.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance, think it has 4 players on one system too, I could be wrong though.

fifa 09 is a good time on xbox live. THe suggestions thus far are solid. Left 4 dead and CoD 4+5 are really fun multi player games.

Halo 3 is all you need.:P

Team Fortress2, Halo3, Left4Dead,UFC:Undisputed(Great fun vs friends online), Vegas2, Shadowrun,Call Of Duty 4/WAW (If you enjoy these days, i dont but alot of my friends do) and Forza2!

** I just saw that you want 3 player on one 360.. so get these games = GRAW1 and GRAW2 (awesome playing this coop splitscreen), also sports games like Fifa 09, NHL 09 or the underrated NBA2k9.

Welcome to 360 gaming bud! I to mainly game on PC, but i still buy consoles for platforming games and some onlien games with my friends who dont have a gaming pc. Good to have the best of both worlds bud! Xboxlive is very good onlien service to, especially if you just came from the amazing PC gaming online.

If you're interested in the original arcade version of Gauntlet, it's available on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. It'll cost you only 400 MS Points, and you can get 4 players on a console at once. It plays just like the original arcade coin-op version, so if you liked that one you'll have no qualms about this one.

You might want to check out Fuzion Frenzy 2, it's like Mario Party in a more high tech enviroment, it's great when playing with friends. It gets really competitive after a short while. Plus you can get it for less then 20$.

Gears of War, Halo 3, CoD 4 & WaW (and soon CoD: MW2), UT3 is supposed to be okay... Pretty much any 360 exclusive has pretty good online.

Gears of War series, Call of Duty series, Halo 3 (although for me got extremely boring). Those are some great ones. Oh Battlefield bad comp. Those are some great multiplayer games off the top of my head.
