Buying a 360....need your help

Hey guys, i'm getting a 360 this weekend. The problem is ive got a 51cm CRT screen....is this ok? Will i need to buy extra cables to use on it? (its only got 3 holes).

What extras do i need to buy overall-Im getting the Premium

I'm also gonna get 2 games..which do you reccomend?

It's gonna look considerably worse than it could on you TV, I suggest buying a HD LCD TV .

I dont think you'll need extra ports because I reckon you'll be using composite anyway..

As for games, I recommend getting Gears of War (most definitely) and Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2.

First off Gears of War and Oblivion are good choices. Gears is awesome and Oblivion is massive, so those two games should kkep you busy for some time.

Second, most monitors have a DVI input or a VGA input, or both. The VGA is a small, almost rectangular plug with three rows of pins.

The cable you need dose not come standard with the Xbox 360. its gonna cost you like an extra $30 to buy. sience youre using centimeters u gess you dont live in america so i cant tell you how mutch it will be in youre country.

Lol there is nothing next gen about Wii graphics.  The 360 will impress you even on an SD Television.

Yeh, i know that mate.....I asked what it connects to on the 360 is it like the same plug as on the moniter or a different one?

it doesn't matter what kinda tv you got (but having a HD TV really helps) as long as it just has 3 holes. also if your going to do a lot of downloading from xboxlive (like Oblivion: SI, Movies, etc.) get the new black xbox. if not the 1st xbox 360 will work fine. as for games it all a matter of opion. if you like rpg's get oblivion, FPS's get Fear or gears of war, racing PGR 3, and fighting games dead or alive 4..................................... I know thats alot but i hope that helps you in some way:D

I think I've seen you on the PS3 forums, (because of your picture display), but anyway, beter save a little money and buy an HDTV, cause PS3 and 360 on standar tvs is like playing Xbox 1.5 and PS2.5
