You're buying this game...
Well, i do love battlefield games and was thinking about buying the new installment, but i decided i would not because after playing the beta demo, i just thought i was basically like other battlefields and stuff so im looking forward in just getting MW3 and skyrim for now. But if you think you could change my mind please message me!EpicMultiGamer
What? i don't even think i need to explain why this statement sounds ridiculous
I didn't like the beta, so I'm not buying it either. You can say all you want about it not being representative of the full game, but my first impression wasn't that good. I'll just wait until they make another BC game.DrakebunnyYour loss.

Lol, this literally makes no sense. You're not even going to rent it to see what it's like? Try a friend's game? Look at reviews lol? "Oh the beta wasn't that good, because it was HALF of what the final game is like and super dumbed down, so I don't buy final game!"
It really is your loss :?.
Big mistake, get Battlefied 3. Play some single player/co-op for a week. Then jump online to the multiplayer and get ready for an awesome experience. MW3 is good for close/tight combat and will most likely be an enjoyable game. Battlefield 3 is just large scale awesomeness. I like BF series because of how you can manipulate the map. Blast a wall and make a different entrance instead of flooding choke points, skirt along the boundry lines and get into some odd places. Modern Warfare is fun, but can't really do much to get around choke points or explore the environment.

inb4isaidmyfirstimpressionwaswhatmattered. And no, the spacebar doesn't exist. Plus, unless they upped the health, which was a major gripe for me, there's no way I'd buy it.[QUOTE="EpicMultiGamer"]Well, i do love battlefield games and was thinking about buying the new installment, but i decided i would not because after playing the beta demo, i just thought i was basically like other battlefields and stuff so im looking forward in just getting MW3 and skyrim for now. QFT. BF3 felt like BF2 to you Epic? Or 1942? Or 2142? Right. BF3 is a vastly different game, and anybody that has played BF games could tell that from the beta. Having 4 classes and vehicles like before doesn't mean it's basically like the other BF games lol. Have fun with MW2.2, gonna basically be very different from the other CoDs, you know?
No one cares? If you think a "Beta" is the complete product your not intelligent...
YoungSinatra25
YOU'RE not either. Lol..
So you don't wanna buy battlefield 3 because it's similar to the other battlefields? ...What? "I don't want to buy Forza 4 because all it is is a racing game, it's the same as the other ones!"
Don't buy it then. You're not gonna be very good at it and you're gonna quit anyway, waste of $60.

Oh and HC mode doesn't exist, not at all.
Try harder to hate :?. You're not buying the game based on an old, toned down build of the game and the "upped" health (which is just BS, because the health has been lowered). Makes sense.

No, I'm saying I want MORE health. BC2 got it right, imo.If you are basing purchasing BF3 off of playing the beta, then you weren't going to get it in the first place. I was totally addicted to the beta and played whenever I could even of the crappy Metro map. The gameplay is just so much fun!! I dont even have a great gaming PC. In fact, the best PC I have is my Dell XPS Laptop and that is where Ill be playing BF3. Well and on my 360 as I will play with my console buddies there. Your loss dude!! But have fun playing MW 2.5!ShoTTyMcNaDeSI think BF3 low PC settings will still look as good as a consoles. Funny TC would say "basically like the other" and mention MW3 like it won't have any similarity to its predecessors. In Skyrim you will also have a plot twist, use swords and magic...pass, it'll be just like the others with the same devs., same tittle, same genre, same series. Who would have guessed .

Betas are put out to test servers and stabilize and improve gameplay. Dice said they got everything they needed from the beta, which tells me the game is gonna be really good. Most of the maps are going to be larger and quite a bit different than the beat map. Someone that played the final version said the map he played on 360 was so large he never reached the boundaries WHILE FLYING A JET. Any decision you make at this point is one made out of ignorance. If history provides any indication, Dice will not be outdone w/online MP. Not now, or in the foreseeable future.
After reading all the responses, I'm surprised only one person commented on my video link....did you see the mother f*#$ing trailer?!?!?!
I want BF3 but I ain't got no moneyzz  Gotta save for Skyrim!
So sick of CoD. I just want something new. And haven't played a team based FPS since CS:S. Lookin forward to pickin this thing up eventually. And to that comment where the guy said he couldn't reach boundaries while flying a jet? I call major BS. No way a map could be that big! Given I don't know BF's history of maps, that claimjust seems incredibly exaggerated.

Black Ops is debatable, though I thought it was trash. If more folks want to play Battlefield spawn camp 3, more power to them.[QUOTE="ShoTTyMcNaDeS"]If you are basing purchasing BF3 off of playing the beta, then you weren't going to get it in the first place. Did you really just talk about spawn camping and bring up BF? CoD is notorious for spawn camps occurring. Spawn camping rarely ever happened in BC2, and most likely won't occur much in BF3. Only two maps in BC2 had potential for spawn camping really and it really only happened on one of them (Atacama Desert). Maps where spawn trapping often occurred in BO and MW2: Havana, Jungle, Favela, Rust, Nuketown, Radiation, Scrapyard, Hanoi, etc... There are probably a bunch I'm forgetting. At least in BF, even with the worst of teams, the squad spawn system will give you a chance of getting somewhere in the map, and the spawns are often large enough for you to spawn and navigate out of a spawn trap.
Spawn camping rarely happened? What game did you play? Whether winning or losing, it was stupid. I would just start killing snipers who kept spawn camping. It makes the game so dull when you don't let them out of their spawn.Did you really just talk about spawn camping and bring up BF? CoD is notorious for spawn camps occurring. There a good many people on these boards that don't seem to understand the difference between a beta and a demo. BF3 released a true beta, and as you pointed out, it was solely to test servers. They even sent emails to people playing the beta with times for people to sign on so they could test the stress on the servers. People played the beta expecting it to be like a demo.
And I love how people think this game will be awful based on the Beta; this isn't Dice's first rodeo folks, especially in the MP arena. They know what they're doing.

Most people consider spawn camping when people sit and watch your spawn, killing you as you pop up, not people sitting in their spawn. If you're really crying because 3 people of 12 on a team want to snipe from their spawn, then you're really just nitpicking. Those 3 people per team doing that don't really hurt the game at all.

Obviously you're not comprehending what I'm saying. Snipers would move up and when we pushed them back far enough, they would not be able to leave their spawn at all, especially in Conquest. There was no way out when every base was captured. Snipers would shoot them as they started coming out of the base. That's called base rape, and it's a problem in Battlefield and it will be in Battlefield 3 as well. And as I said, that only happened on two maps in BC2... really only on one. It's super easy to get out of the deployment with 0 flags if your team is decent. It wasn't a problem in BC2.
I think we should all stop pretending we know what Modern Warfare 3 or Battlfield 3 will be like. Neither are out, so there's no telling if they will really be like the older versions.
