Ebay is nice if you know what you're doing. IE, I only bid on items where the sellers have a certain amount of positive feedback, etc. besides, items usually skyrocket in price in the last minute or so of the bidding as all the smart bidders wait till then.

What do you mean by "certain amount of feedback".

i buy 90% of my games from ebay and just recently had a horrible purchase were i got my money taken but i am covered by paypal and getting it back, just make sure the seller has very high feedback like above 95% at least and maybe a rating above 500 some have like in the thousands if they have that high a rating with that percentage you should be ok. I always like ones that provide a picture of the product and try to use paypal since you are covered if the seller rips you off.

I pay average of 45$ W/Shipping for new games, you just have to know when to bid sometimes if its closing late at night or early morning it helps to stay up for it when others wouldnt and also waiting a month or so the game will drop in price drastically on ebay

Let's say I am selling cod 4, and you win the auction for 50 bucks. You pay on time, I have no problems communicating with you, etc, so I give you positive feedback. The way feedback works is, it acts as a point system (total of all the feedback you've ever gotten), and there is a percentage indicating how many people, out of the total number, gave you positive feedback. When leaving feedback, you can also leave a comment, which helps when you want to explain why you were/were not happy with the person you did business with.

There is absolutley nothing wrong with buying games on eBay. I buy and sell used and new games on eBay all the time. Just make sure you buy from people with a solid feedback rating and try and stay away fom new members.

look for the power sellers who ship fast. make sure nothing is from hong kong. i have ordered almost every game of mine off of ebay, had no problems. only twice i have ran into some small tears on a factory sealed game. otherwise, you can even get games before the street date. i got Portable ops before it was supose to come out. games will save you cash. i just bought assassins creed and crysis, the game games were brand new and my friend and i have encountered no problems. thats the only advice i can give you, its really just ebay to worry about. alternativedvd is a good seller, and so is big3mkt. they are flawless. trust them if you can. all the advice i can give you.

Just check the feedback. Check the person's selling history. If he sells alot of games or items and has a rating above 95 percent you should be ok. Especially if you use Paypal.

Same here. Or amazon.com's used section. KOTORII came out like on a tuesday, I bought it on Ebay Wed for like $37 total ($49 new) and it came to me house Friday.

i've done plenty of business buying and selling on ebay. as long as you know what you're doing it's a lot cheaper than buying them at gamestop. just make sure you look at the sellers feedback, and make sure they're shipping it from a real place, and one in the united states.

Seems pretty risky, just make sure it's not scratched and ask the owner if hte disc is playable and what not.

yes, ebay is a reliable place to buy anything. just look up the profile of the seller and see what other folks have to say about em. rep on ebay is pretty important in my books
