Is the only way to buy minecraft by buying and downloading it from xbox live???

The only way of getting the xbox 360 version is downloading through xbox live. But there is minecraft for android, iOS and PC.

What specifically is the problem? For 360 you could buy it on xbox's website but there's no physical version of the game if that's what your asking.
