Call of Duty 3 or Gears of War

What the hell is that supposed to mean? Gears of War has gorgeous graphics but the gameplay looks boring and repetitive, and Call of Duty 2 was one of the most overrated games from launch (i have it) so why would i want to buy cod3 when brothers in arms is coming out (it looks much better), and if you are implying that I say this because of some homosexual love for the Wii or PS3 you would be, in the words of Redd Foreman a "Dumbazz!"psyko7144

Oh yeah I forgot that on these forums an opinion is a terrible thing,  You're right, you know,  I should just buy a game based on hype,  remember a game called Brute Force?  Yeah I didn't think so,  It was hyped when first shown as the Halo killer,  the Xbox's next great killer app! HA!  Oh yeah and lets see,  Killzone,  another game that was way overhyped,  and I bet anyone who said those games looked horrible got the same response you gave me. 

If its good so be it,  I don't want to see it fail, but its being judged by graphics alone, nothing about the gameplay is revolutionary.  Sorry to disappoint you,  but I think on the other hand saying that a game is great when you haven't played it is totally bonkers!  Just look at NBA Live,  great body,  but dumb as shyte!  You should learn to think for yourself, and not let Microsoft do the thinking for you.  There is a reason they will not give us a demo before release.

I'm glad I can get both & don't have to make that decision. But if I had to choose, I would choose Gears of War.ColoradoKindBud

One difference between Brute Force and Gears is the development/design team. You can't really compare the quality of work between Epic and Digital Anvil its no contests. Medjai

Puh-lease...

Let's see, it's between the flagship 360 title featuring the official console game engine being used by it's creators in a new IP, or a COD3, a game made by a developer who is unproven in the genre and is riding the coat tails of Infinity Wards success?  Hmmmm....

well seeing how i already preordered gears, online.....

I dont think COD3 is worth buying a rent maybe, but not worth buying....

of course this is my opinion, i speak for myself and myself alone.

i believe that gears of war kinda beats call of duty 3 but i do say i did like both i just prefer gears over call of duty
