Call of Duty 4: Is it worth a purchase?

Hey Guys, I have Call of Duty: WAW, but I can get Call of Duty 4 for a good price, is it worth buying? Also I know that the Game of the Year Edition has the free map pack, but can you download them for free if you buy the regular Call of Duty 4, or do you have to pay to get them for the marketplace? Thanks.

if you are looking for an addicting multiplayer, call of duty 4 is calling your name. also when i bought the game of the year edition i didnt get any map pack. but yea if you buy the game of the year edition it will come with it. also the map pack isnt free on marketplace. i believe its 800 points. call of duty 4 is what made waw so def get it

is it worth buying? hell its worth buying twice. once to use to play the game, the second time to slap somebody with when they say its not a good fps. King was right its the game that made WaW what it is but imo its still the better game. infinity ward just does it soo much better than treyarch. if you do play a lot of the multiplayer i probably would get the game of the year version although i dont know what the price difference is it may be a better payoff just to buy some microsoft points and dl them off the marketplace. hey king usually when u buy a version of the game thats supposed to come with map pack. theres a code somewhere in the case that lets u dl the pack for free instead of paying for it. either case you have to dl the mappack its just that with the GOTY edition you dont pay an extra cost cause its alreadu tacked on to the price of the game. but yeah liberator DEFINATLY get the game AND get the mappack one way or another. you will NOT b dissapointedslvrraven9

I wouldn't get it at this time. I would wait till Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. That's just my opinion.

COD4 > WAW Definately Buy It Will Keep You Going Until MW2 Comes Out
