Every time I try to join a party or game with my friend, it says 'unable to connect to host'...is there any way to fix this?

Does playing regular matches against random people work?

If not then there is a huge amount of stuff that can be going wrong for you.

Yup, I can join matches normally. The only time this situation arises is when my friend (from Australia) tries to invite me to a party or game. However, we've played together many times in the past, and it just started doing this a few weeks ago.

I have no clue, I think you'll have more luck asking MS about this, not that I think you'll have a lot of luck there either though.

If your internet is fine, then it's probably Infinity Ward and their inferior skills of programming.

My NAT somehow was set to strict, and I think that's the problem.

The only thing I can think is one of you has a weak connection rate, call your internet provider and have them do a ping test.

So how can I get rid of it? I didn't put it on strict, I don't even know how to.
