R700->Desert Eagle->Clamores->Stopping Power->Iron Lungs and sometimes Deep Impact
I like the Barrett 50cal. but almost everbody who has unlocked it uses it!

I can't stand the .50cal. IMO the recoil is just too big so if a shot misses it takes a bit too long to get your sights back to normal. I'd rather use the M40A3 with stopping power anyday.

"PTHER"??? Oh please...
*allrite u guys are either gonna find this really stupid or somewhat helpful.*
ive found that if u raise the sensitivity up it really helps sniping. i was playing at medium (default) and when u scoping it just moves too slow. now i play at 5 (one above high) and it helps a lot cuz i can move faster when scoping.
i know im a idiot. ive played 4 days worth of cod4 and i just found out raising the sensitivity helps lol

I also find it easier to snipe with the sensitivity being higher. I tend to snipe with my sensitivity at 8, it takes a bit of getting used to but once you're OK with it, its so much easier to scope enemies running in the your sights.
But i do know that some really good snipers like to use low sensitivity settings like 2 or 3.
Just stick with what you find to be easiest.
replace stopping power with UAV JAMMER
UAV JAMMER isn't that great. For snipers stopping power gives you an instant one shot kill with almost any gun. I prefer the first sniper and the .50 cal.
yea i thing that i dont like about sniping w/ uav jammer is that usually when ur sniping u stay in the same place. rite after u kill someone, the killcam shows up, they know where u are, they kill u.
that, and im just really bad at sniping lol. i use the m40 w/ stopping power, deep impact, claymore, w/e pistol i have unlocked.
Sniping is hard to do with a kill cam and UAV always happening.
The Desert Eagle would be the best if you can silence it, only in hardcore I would use it.
The USP. 45 is the best if you dont want to be seen with its good accuracy and large clip with medium power.
I use your exact set-up(replace claymores with bandialier) and i wouldn't use anything else. IF you want a quiet pistol i would go with a silenced USP .45.
However, one person suggeted using UAV jammer instead of stopping power, i wouldn't suggest that. This akes away the one hit kill and makes that gun much worse imo.

The Deagle in COD4 has too much recoil?

That's what I was thinking; I find it hilarious how little recoil the Deagle has in this game.

Coming from Socom 2 to COD4 was saddening.
If this guy thinks the recoil on the Deagle is too much in COD4, boy would I love to see his face using the one in Socom 2.
