Call Of Duty 4 VS HALO 3

I'm pumped for CoD4. But the TP needs to know that a different developer made CoD3 than is making CoD4.

Don't base your experience with 3 to what you'll get with 4.

what's so good about master chief anyway? he's just some dude in a helmet who doesn't say very much.......

I'm thinking of bigger games at the moment and COD4 isn't quite up there for me.

Games like Halo 3, Bioshock, Lost Odyssey, Mass Effect, Eternal Sonata and Too Human will take precedence.

I repeat a different developer. So the cross should be between CoD2 and BF2 :)

Splitting hairs I know...but Infinity Ward is too good a dev to get confused with lesser devs.

I'm Buying Halo 3 , then Call of Duty 4.

But I am sure I'll play Halo 3 more.

if you're impressed by ''shiny shiny'' things then you could invest in some tin foil......it'll be cheaper than buying halo 3 :)

halo 3 will win obiously with more than 1 milllion preorders and the new features like saved films and forge about master chief,people love them because he is so frikingBada$$!!1 oh and i also forgot the armor permutations

see, if i hadn't have posted this topic, you'd have never discovered the wonderous joy of tin foil!!!!! :) I changed my pic because i realised it was a bit hypocritical of me when i'm sayin that COD is better to have a halo pic, lol :)

but you're already comparing the Beta to a finished game... I've just read the latest EGM, and there is a ton more stuff that they are implementing in the final build. Can't wait to ride on the "elephant".a55a55inx

haha! that sounds fair... i'll be getting both games anyway. I've always enjoyed the halo games and I can't wait to see how the story unfolds, and I've also enjoyed COD2, even though I dislike the over-use of the WWII these days. But COD in a modern world by infinity ward? That sounds awesome...

for some reasone im not impresed by this game (COD4) mainly i think its because ive been waiting for halo 3 since 2004 and every day i check if thers some news onthis gamejorgeluis

Ya I dont see whats so great about COD4 either.

It looks cool, but I cant imagine it doing that great except for COD fans.

your gonna miss out if you dont buy halo3, while people will buy both and enjoy both (since cod4 is comming out in nov)

Halo 3. From what I can tell, CoD4 is just going to be like the other, just set at a different time. Not that Im saying it's going to b bad, I just don't understand the hype. Especialy about the graphics.

Halo 3 looks freakin awsome though. I'll be getting both anyway.

I don't see why everyone's so hyped about COD4, it looks like COD2 with modern wepons and the same old scripted events. That said, it'll be a brilliant game and I'll pick it up, but I'm much more excited for Halo 3.EazyB

Yeah Halo 3 is so much more different than Halo 1 and 2 right. don't get me wrong i love the Halo series but your acting as if Halo 3 is bringing so much more to the table but it's really the same thing. Call of Duty 4 looks like a great game and i will be buying both.

If you are looking forward to cod4 being made like cod3 then you are out of luck, srry. Cod 3 was not made by infinity ward, it was made by a seperate third party game company. Infinity ward is the one that made Cod, Cod 2, and the upcoming Cod 4. If you are looking for something that was like cod 3 you wont be getting it. But if i may make a suggestion, you should play cod2, it is waaaaaaaaaay better than cod 3 in my opinion.

And as for getting halo 3 or cod 4, i think you should get both because since halo 3 is coming out in late september, and you will have plenty of time to save up for cod 4 which ( i think ) is scheduled to be released sometime in november.

well duh!!! i know that about infinity ward, i've owned cod 2 and cod 3. i think the single player is better in cod 2, but the multiplayer is so much better in cod 3, which is what makes me want cod 4. cod 4 is obviously going to have better multiplayer than cod 2 (more like cod 3).

The thing is though, i won't play two FPS, i've done this before, and i only end up playing on one of them and the other just ends up gathering dust on the shelf. i'm not saying that i'm not gonna get halo 3, because i will do in the future (probably),it'sjust i think that cod 4 will be better and i'll get that first. halo 3 is just halo with a few new features

i brought mi xbox 360 for the online community and the online support of games, after playing on mi friends console.and there have been some very good online mutiplayer games such as gow and vegas but one game i yet to see matched or surpassed for online playablity is the one and only bf2, (on the pc) well i think if anything could do that it would be cod4 it seems so similar, halo 3 is a great game into itself but it just dose not have as much features as bf2 or cod4, rom playing the betait was clear that it didn't. and since co4 seems similar to bf2 im hoping it will included all the same features like tanks helies boats etc and more of which we havn,t seen, and if the videos anything to go by there is certainly alot we havn't seen before in this game.
