im gettting bith but i still cant tell i mean i played the halo 3 beta and it was fun and now im trying to get itno the call of duty beta so well see soon who the real multiplayer master is even though halo is dominating now. it has competition.
if your serious and you wanna play for the money go to halo 3. if you want the new an exciting real next gen game . get call of duy 4. that game is going to be a fun blast. halo 3 will out last cod 4. so, you can always go back to h3. but, once cod 4 is done its done.
What the hell is with all you posters asking questions like "which game should I get???" Firstly, very few if ANY of us know you. We dont know your likes and dislikes in a game so how could we possibly make that choice for you??? Secondly, out of the choices you gave us neither one has been released to the general public so we have NO IDEA which game will be better or why. It is all speculation. Thirdly,even if both games were at my house right now and I was able to decide which is better that descision is based on my opinion which is neither right nor wrong and therefore useless information to you. Fourthly, if you cant decide for yourself when these are released then go out and rent them for a few days and see which one YOU like best. In short no one on this forum is an expert on gaming or games moreover, even if someone here was an expert their opinion doesnt count for anymore then anyone elses. So STOP WITH THESE TOPICS ALREADY.
I'm getting both even though I'm not huge on either series. COD2 was good but moving into the present/modern times is a welcome change in my opinion. The trailer for COD4 looked pretty good too. I'm only getting Halo because I know that's what everyone else will be playing.
I think everyone and their grandmother will be playing Halo 3.......for me Call of duties realism has me quite excited...I really can't choose I am going to get both :P
The last call of duty imo sucked something, and the last halo was great, so I would lean towards halo 3. There are soooo many good games coming out that I might pass on call of duty for the first time, just because the last one was such a bore. I will admit that the upcoming one does look alot better, but I will wait for reviews. If it scores in the nines I will pick it up, if not I will be focused on halo and mass effect.

could be the fact that cod4 is made by the same guys that made cod2. cod3 was made by a different company, so i guess people are glad the "originals" are back ;)
I'm really looking forward to both! As everyone says Halo 3 will own and so will Call of Duty 4. For me its ahrd to compare because one is futuristic and other is modern. I will hopefully get both but personnaly looking forward to Call Of Duty 4. (I like realistic games lol :P)
Halo 3 will surpass in multiplayer in my own personal opinion, it really depends on your game preferences, if you love alot of variety, fast paced and fun, I would go for Halo 3, which I am personally waiting for but for the campaign, if you're inot strategy and real life simulation then for the Call Of Duty, May I suggest renting each game first?
