call of duty 5, 2 players split screen online from same console?

hello guys, i want to know can you be playing call of duty 5 with your mate with with 2 controllers on the 1 console, and be playing the online modes like free for all and etc on split screen, like you can do on halo 3, social.

Yea it's actually pretty cool. The single player is 4 player co-op through live.

Plus the zombie mode could be split screen, but nobody has confirmed or denied it yet I don't think.

So how do you play 2 player Co-op online ?

My buddy and I were trying with Kane & Lynch, also but it wants 4 players for on-line? Want to play CoD 5 tonight.

Does CoD 5 do this only 4 player thing on-line ?

Sorry I'm new to online and I am kinda confused.

The zombie mode is split-screen but, also like campaign, you can not do split-screen across Xbox live. Pretty lame if you ask me. Why is it Halo 3 the only one that does this?xmen1414

split-screen is garbage, you each get 2 tiny boxes and the rest of your screen is filled with an ugly boring backgroundchaoscougar1
