This is a plea to Treyarch for Call of Duty Black Ops. (as I cant find any forums or a specific email to send this to for Treyarch to send this to)

CAN WE PLEASE GET DOWNLOADBLE CONTENT WHICH WILL HAVE A LARGE SINGLE PLAYER PORTION AS OPPOSED TO A MULTIPLAYER PORTION.

We could get a Spec Ops mode, a few more missions for the campaign like a new level.

Im so tired of Map Packs for AAA shooters like Call of Duty.

if your interested please reply so Treyarch can see how much we want this!!!!

I hate when people bash the Black Ops campaign. Largely because they've never played. Among the Call of Duty games, it has the best story. It doesn't have the best story of any game, ever, but it can stand out against a lot of the generic military shooters today.

And with saying that, I think theres no room for DLC in the singleplayer of Black Ops. The story has no where else to go as it had good closure, and fitting in a random mission would be quite difficult.

Agreed the story is actually really solid with a lot of twists and the dialog is first rate plus the sound track is KILLER I can't tell you how many times I found myself singing along as Mason shot people in the head or pretty much any where for that matter

I hope the single player will be continuing with Frank Woods, if he (hopefully) is alive. Also, I haven't played multiplayer yet, and I was surprised with the story that Black Ops had. When I first heard that it was gonna be CoD Vietnam I thought it's gonna be like a World at War story but it wasn't so that's a good job for the developer of this game.

See the Black Ops game is more orientated towards multiplayer, thats why they spent like 90% of their time creating it and trying to perfect it. The single player is just really thrown in there to make the price $60 IMO. If they took out the story mode then the game couldnt be $60. Also as i said above, the companies making Black Ops are trying to create a better multiplayer than other companies that have a piece of the CoD series. I can almots 100% guarantee that no company creating a CoD game will ever release a campaign add on. They will on create multiplayer add ons. So we must all move on and accept this fact. Dont get me wrong, the Black Ops campaign was good. But they cant do much to add something in there.

I laugh when people bash a campaign they haven't played. Go ahead, check a few players online and see how many of them have the achievements for the story of any CoD. I loved CoD4, MW2 and BO campaigns: beautiful writing, soundtrack, pacing and set pieces. All they lack are more fleshed out characters. Would I buy a sigle player addon? If it was a new level, no. If it was special operations (with co-op), yes

I haven't played the campaign of Black Ops yet but I plan on doing so at some point in the future. Treyarch are never going to release single player DLC because the vast majority of people only play multiplayer and probably don't even know there is a single player story. Therefore it wouldn't sell well at all. They should just stick to multiplayer DLC, this way more people will buy it which means, yes you guessed it, more money.

Yeah my friend laughed at me when I asked him if he played the story yet when I first bought it and he told me that he only plays multiplayer so laughed right back in his face. How do you spend $60 bucks on a game and not get the full effect? I played all the CoD series from 1-BO, sure some were duds(cough big red one cough). I can honestly say that CoD4, MW2, WaW, BO stories were really well scripted and made me get attached to the characters. The ending was crazy as well, pretty much like watching yet playing through an actual action movie. Yeah you really can't go further into the story unless you do like a flashback of Mason's days before he became a SOG but more people play the multiplayer so if they bring out DLC map packs, it'll sell more than singleplayer DLC.

I wish there had been Spec-Ops DLC for Modern Warfare 2, that stuff was the best fun I've had with a COD game.

Yea I'd love to see something about those documents found in Black Ops, saying the US Govt sends people to kill Mason in 1978, ten years after Black Ops

I think single-player DLC would be good. However, they'd probably want to overcharge for it like they do the maps, that would be bad.
