It just seems so fluid and natural. I can't believe the number of times I've died when trying to zoom in with LT and instead chucking a grenade at a wall. (Halo 3)Th3-UnS33n
I never had that problem with either game.
It's more of what you are used to. I play Halo most of the time, and when I first played COD, I had trouble, but now I can switch on and off any time I wish. It's what you are used to

(Halo 3)Th3-UnS33n:lol: havent we all? and i believe the same thing happen to me in RSV2. i understood when a team mate told me he just got done playing H3 and accidentally killed me with a 'nade in COD4 . perfect? i say so. anything else seems unnatural now.
I've been playing both COD4 and COD:WAW for 90% of my xbox time)Th3-UnS33nThat's why. It's what your most used to and it's second nature to you now.
I will agree, the CoD control scheme works extremely well......for CoD. Other FPS's have different elements to them, so they need different control schemes. I'll use Halo 3 as an example because it has been brought up already. X isn't reload in that game cause they need that button for the equipment. And because the have 3 types of grenades instead of 2, they can't use 2 buttons for grenades because it would be unwieldy.
You can get used to most game's controls, it just takes some time.
