One thing I don't like about COD games is how their isn't much incentive to do prestige. With COD:WAW you got to make a new class but truthfully I couldn't give a sh*t about a new class. Obviously they will never think of enough guns and perks to give you more each prestige but I was thinking maybe a special gun after each prestige, how hard could it be to think of 10 more special guns. What does everyone else think?
Me and my friends had this conversation not to long ago, but then by given new guns for higher prestige's (i would imagine each weapon would be better the higher you go) it would create a more un fair advantage between those who dont have the time to prestige (casual gamers) and those who treat it like a religion. but that would only be if the guns were an awful lot better than the rest. But honestly i think a new class slot is enough

yeah i see whaty your saying. like there are a lot of people who either dont have to time or like me jsut dont see the point of reseting all your guns so i dont do it and yeah if they gave out like a super gun or somthing youd have a lot of people with an unfair advantage
i dunno about special guns it sounds good but yes they should think of a reason to prestige i mean first you have everything and could be amazing but then you give it all up for what a special icon saying how cool you are, and in WAW and extra slot? lame. they need some awesomeness but not soo awesome that you cant beat people with a prestige cause that would just be lame too
I think they should do something like give you different clothing items or something since that doesn't affect gameplay but it would be a way of being rewarded and for showing people what prestige you are at. They could let you do something too like have an extra perk slot or something but again, that would give them an advantage in some shape or form.
They should give you the extra custom classes as well as maybe allow you to keep your old camo's on your guns and if you get to a prestige you have a golden camo of your choice for every prestige.
It's easy to get to level 55. Quit complaining about prestige seriously. If you don't want to do it, then don't. I mean...it's REALLY easy to get to level 55. It gets boring, so why not give the better players something to do and get a new emblem or something, get more points.
Well wouldn't it be cool if you got the alien weapon in W@W after you did a few laps of prestige? MW2 could have special weapons like the alien one and they could be prestige unlocks (as long as they balance it and don't make it overpowered or cheap) .
Also I like the clothing idea as the other poster suggested, unlockable gear to put on your solider kinda like Metal Gear Online.
Or how about this...instead of getting a special gun or adding another perk slot they could make it where when you prestige you get to choose one locked gun that is open to you immediately. For example, in World at War after my 1st prestige I could choose the Carbine and I could start using it at level one. Just a thought...

That's a good idea right there. I think that and clothing options would be the two most viable options.
I read in an interview with Infinity Ward where a developer was saying they couldn't have physically fit more than 1 or 2 extra guns in the game than they already have due to some kind of processing power limit. It had something with the game having to load all of the different weapon configurations at the begininning of each match taking up too much power or something.
i dont believe they sould give them an unfair advantage by giving them special guns.but i think they should get things like more attatchmens, customs gun skins, or customizable camo or armor.
