I was wondering how many 360s died (RROD) due to Modern Warfare 2 being such a great game. We have two in our house and one had 3 red rings, sent it in to Microsoft last week. The other is getting 2 rings(overheat) when there is a lot of people playing an online game. We can get maybe 2 or 3 cagemacthes(1 on 1) then it overheats. It is in a good spot for air flow but seems to be getting worse on the overheating.
...... you cant get a rrod from a game. mw2= software, rrod= hardware problem..

Well I know of 2 consoles that have RROD'd while playing MW2 after only a couple of sessions....neither have had any problems before this. Although the software can't cause the problem directly, a game such as this requires a LOT of processing power from the GPU/CPU which means a lot of heat generated... more so than less demanding games. So could it be that MW2 is pushing the older 360's to the limit and bringing on the RROD?
