I can't get it to work!!! I love the game and I've already played the campaign like 10 times. I have a great internet conestion but when I start the online I can't get into a game..... It just says "Obtaining game quality" forever
You might want to try resetting your network. That is most likely the case especially if you have never played live or had a live connection on your 360.

It's your connection. Call Of Duty 4 is working fine, I played a few hours ago and didn't have any problems whatsoever.
i heard cod4 had an issue if you're using a wireless router. i experienced the same thing you described when i was using my wireless connection. then i plugged it straight in and it worked perfectly. odd thing is the wireless works for halo3 but not this
I don't know what anyone's talking about about the whole wireless router thing. I've played 50 million games on COD4 using my wireless router, absolutely no problems.

actually your all worng when the game first came out someone hacked into the ea servers and alot people couldnt get into it they were supposed to fix it.... it is a legit problem xbox live knows about it
I have Had this problem as-well but i sold the game off. I then found out a day later that all i needed was a corded connect. I'll just have to rent the game and see if it works and if so ill buy it again.
the same thing happend to me when i first bought the game and i found out it was my connection but i fixedks now and im wireless so yeah its your connection
