Reflexes that I do not posses yet. The only FPS games I've played over the years was Battlefield, wherein if you got into a CQB fight, you would still shoot, seeing as the knife is a different weapon. Redundancy aside, I don't understand how people have the second nature to knife you when you're generally close, and at that, I don't see how they would know at what distances the knife would connect.

I digress, but it just bugs me how a lot of my deaths come from my enemy knifing me when we're engaged in a gun fight in CQB .

I agree, I'm sure most of my deaths are by knifing. They look like they're 10 ft. away from me, but, in the kill-cam, they're all up in my grill

hahaha thats so true, thats why you just knife them when you're 10 feet away right in the face!, but then somehow you still manage to die before you do it :/

Im still getting used to how far the lunge is, luckily its only a slight lunge and not a 6 foot MW2 lunge.

I agree on the reflexes, and yea most of mine are with the knife too lol - Theres been countless times ive 'Only just' seen someone, split second later im dead. Pisses me off also when you actually hit them a few times before your death, but on the killcam your just stood there.. Makes you think, is it me.

lol idk about Black ops but you should seen mw2 knifing lol. marathon, light weight, commander, care package.... now that was joke... commander would make it where the knife was like a halo sword that locked on 50 ft away. care package gave people 30% increase in speed that no one could match

thats cod for you

The knifing becomes second nature once you've played the game enough. Since you've only played Battlefield until now you're not used to it. As for the distances.. I'm not sure about Black Ops, but one of the annoyances with MW2 was that the game was VERY lenient on how far away you were to just give you the knife kill. But if you're right next to the person it's not very hard for them to press a button and just knife you straight away. Like I said.. second nature.
