i dont think there were any choppers in WWII, probably cuz of that

Sort of - there were helicopters in the 1940's, but most used in the war were for transporting troops or supplies only - it was shortly after WWII that they started using choppers in combat

Honestly, the dogs are better than the helicopter. The dogs can be shot and you get +3 exp. Sometimes you can average around 4 kills with the dogs, very useful against those squating snipers.andyrae11

I agree. At first though, I didn't like them. I got playing it more and more, and now I actually think it is a good Idea. The helicopter in Call of Duty 4 only one person would get Experience Points for shooting it down. Whereas the dogs, more opportunity for more people to get some XP and, like you stated, killing those pesky snipers. :P

I don't think you even got experience points for shooting down the chopper in COD 4 - there was a 'Fly Swatter" challange, but that was a 1 time thing until you went ot the next pretige and unlocked the challange again the next time through.

There aren't any online multiplayer achievements but there are online co-op achievements.

Why would you want them tougher? Some times, they take 4-5 shots to take down already... Last time I checked, Old Yeller only needed 1. :P

3 kills = Radar

5 kills = Screaming Mimi's a.k.a Artillery

7 kills = Attack dogs

there were no helicopters in WW2. COD games are unrealistic, but not THAT unrealistic.

yea i also believe that the dogs are a better reward because for the people they are being unleashed upon, now it's their main concern. In COD4, nobody wants to take time and look up and empty two clips into a chopper, thus making it more annyoing. Here, you kinda have to worry about the dogs.

and for those that said they're too hard to kill, not really. i personally believe that knifing them is the easiest way to go. A lot of times they jump at you, miss, then stay dazed for a second. use that time to knife them down. I had three dogs on me and got them all by knifing them. shooting them is only best when you have a submachinegun.
