Call of Juarez looks interesting

There's some cool things I didn't know about this game, like being able to break bottles of liquor and set its contents on fire. You can also grab a bucket of water and put the flames out. Check the vids out here.

I'm not saying that by any means will this game be a summer blockbuster hit, but I'm really looking forward to playing this game.

i believe in the latest oxm it got a 6/10 or 6.5/10 something like that, they pretty much said the game was mediocre and not worth a buy.etbny22

I stopped reading OXM a long time ago, Especially after the Fight Night fiasco. They raised their rating scale to an "11" instead of admiting they were wrong! :roll:, so their reviews mean squat to me. And honestly, I'm still gonna buy it. I really liked Dead Man's Hand on the XBOX and played it a lot on Live, so I suspect I'll like Call of Juarez as well.

How foolish... why would you want to burn perfectly good liquor?

Regardless, I'm definitely keeping my eye on this one, but won't be buying it until I get to play a demo and see some good reviews. It's a Western game... tread carefully.

On a related note, I hope Rockstar realizes that they were on the cusp of something great and make a sequel to Red Dead Revolver. 

I remember playing the PC demo last year and having a blast, it's a different setting and pace from your typical FPS.

Try D/L'ing the demo if your PC can handle it, definitely not a bust like OXM makes it out to be.

Westerns are pretty hit and miss and usually more miss, but with so few out they need to make better quality westerns. Hopefully this game is at least worth renting.
