Your xbox will come with one free month of gold when you start your online account and yes once it ends you will have to pay to keep your subscroption unless you want silver (no online play). You can buy microsoft points with your credit card online or you can also go to the store.
you'll get 1 month free XBL with your new xbox...when you'll make a new account it'll give you the option for gold....and you can buy points online with your credit card on xbox 360 marketplace...
Have Fun Man. It you want a good online game since you like resistance I recommend ShadowRun. I loved the demo and I bet the retail game is just more fun.
