Yeah, with Halo 3! And yes they can both use headsets. I've heared some other games are too, but im not too sure.. I think Call 3 and the GRAW series are... You'll have to wait till someone elseanswers. Actually, Halo 3 is 4 player Xbox Live split-screen.meconate

Yes, that is unless you have two gold accounts on one xbox
To further what has been said:
Some games will not allow multiple people to play rank matches on one xbox(see Gears) whether they are both full live accounts or not. Others will(see halo).
You can either have guest logon, or if multiple people in your house have a gold membership, then they can logon on their own handle. I suppose your friends could import their ID and once they get home Import it back, though bring a keyboard cause the process is annoying and slow.
