can a 1366 x 768 pixels support 720p?

can a 1366 x 768 pixels support 720p?or is it just 1280 x 720?

yes, that resolution is better than 720p by a few pixels. but your picture may be a bit stretched or black bars will show up

Don't wory, if there were black bars they would only be a few pixels wide and not even remotely noticable. That res is 720p, so it'll look great

Don't wory, if there were black bars they would only be a few pixels wide and not even remotely noticable. That res is 720p, so it'll look greatbillyforde

Um, there are no black bars or anything. I got a tv that res, set it to 1080i and it looks awsome. 1080i on a 1366x768 looks better than 720p.

Ummm, son, it will most likely stretch the image some as the vast majority of pc monitors don't have 1:1 pixel mapping. This stretching will cause an image which is not as clear as an image running at the monitors native resolution. It won't look bad, but it won't look perfect either. Now run along.....

Um I'm afraid your wrong son, that is the max res for that TV, however because 720p displays at a lower res that is what the TV will output, not its max res so run along.;)
