I used to have it set up to my PS2 cause the wires were long.

As you can see the wires can't plug into my tv and the back of the surround sound at the same time, because of the rubber connector.

Anybody have any ideas of what i should do?
Cheers

What you have there is a pair of audio jacks. You can't get surround sound from the red and white stereo jacks. You'll need to purchase the HD cables for the XBox and connect the digital optical audio cable to a surround sound receiver.

Yeah, if you've got an audio receiver that all the speakers are hooked up to, you need to get an optical audio cable and hook it up to your Xbox 360.

Microsoft sells a HD cable set for the 360 which allows you to connect to a HD TV. The HD cable package contains red, blue green component cables plus the standard red and white stereo audio cable. But, it also has a plug to receive a digital optical cable which you must by seperately. With both cable packages you are looking at about $60-$70 most likely.

ok the xbox360 auido cables aint compatable of surround sound, u need an optical cable to get surround sound, so either get an optical cable(if your system supports it) or get a new system, but maybe getting a decoder might be a better choice, there about £60-£100 for a good one(about $100-150) i was lucky with my system, i got 500watt sub 325 satelites(4) and a decoder for £100 it was a luck buy because it retailed at about £300 $500

Actually the "Arcade" version comes without a HD and without the component cables.

People who buy the Arcade version of the console are not old enough to know about the difference between SD and HD.
