Can anyone help me with the 3 Ring Of Death

Ya hello guys, im having problems with my 360 i got the 3 ring of doom now i know how to fix it temp. but i want to fix it for good and mywarranty has worn out so i need to fix it myslef, so can anyone teach me how to fix it pernmently without going through a big hassle?

Oh ok. You pretty much have to have a launch console to be outside of the 3 year warranty. I guess you fall into that boat...

Its not that hard to fix the RROD problem. Do a search at google for Xclamp/360 red lights fix.

Ive fixed 4 consoles myself. Only cost abotu 10$ at the most to fix to.

If your 360 is out of warranty check out the fixes available (not the towel bs trick), anyone can do i, as you get a video to show you what to do and a booklet PDF file to help you fix it aswell.

You basically replace the xclamp with a screw and some washers, so its more sturdy and not a problem. You also clean off the CPU and GPU and put new heatsink compound on.

Your best bet is probably just paying $90 or whatever to get it fixed. After that, your RROD warranty would restart.
