I don't think it's a question of IF it can win, I believe it's more like by how MUCH it will win. I think it'll be a LANDSLIDE if the figures for the gamestop pre-orders isanywhere near legit.

You forgot some games on that list of yours, Mass Effect, BioShock, Crysis, Assassin's Creed, theres lots more games then that list you got there and my 3 too

And don't say anything b/c i watched an interview on that game and the guy asked if it was like GoW and then the guy said" well in the terms of you kill people with a sword then yes" Then he bragged about how you could change weapons as he proceded to bring out his " 2 handed sword" aka Blade of Athena.vendettared468

Halo 3 might beat the competition on pre-orders alone.

It is insane the amount of good games coming out this later part of the year. Basically starting in August and on the way down to new years. Yes indeed it is going to be a good year.

Call of duty 4, Assasians Creed, Medal of honor, Unreal 3, Haze, CRYSIS!!!,Mass Effect, Lost odossey. Thats just a few, we all know and love HALO, but honestly there is a lot of good **** comin out. we are all going to be broke

I think the biggest two sellers will be Halo and GTA. I think Halo will win simply because more parents will be willing to buy it for their kids giving it a larger consumer base. GTA on the other hand has built a bad rep among parents which primarilylimits it's consumers toadult gamers.Although COD 4, withit's strong E3 showing,has a great chance as the dark horse to surprise everyone, it just doesn't have the massive, rabid fan basethat the other two enjoy.

As for the rest of the pack such asMass Effect, Assasin's Creed, Super Mario Galaxy, Heavenly Sword, etc. Those just don't havethe broad appeal that the top 3 do. I'm sure they'll all be great games and sell very well, but none of them will beat out Bungie or Rockstar for the number one spot.

Halo 2 Was A Revoultion and easily one of the most best selling games ever it was sold out at toys r us the year after by me alot of xbox players that are really hardcore and are really casual have come to love the halo series im not saying everyone the only serious contendor is GTA4 BUT Alot of parents allow kids to play halo And A majority of them Do Not Approve of the GTA series espically after Hot Coffee and like holding a record for my things on the rating and the gta series perosnally to me got boring at san anderes
