You can even use it wirelessly if you buy the extra accessory for ur computer.

ive just tried and it says  that it needs a installation disk.im running on xp,do i need a ms update?

no you can't... you have to have the wireless adaptor for the wireless controller to work with a computer. even if you have a plug and play kit

no you can't... you have to have the wireless adaptor for the wireless controller to work with a computer. even if you have a plug and play kit

Wrong. Just let windows do a search online for the drivers and it will find it. Works fine

It should say that it has been detected by Windows. If not, You have to download the correct drivers for the controller to be detected.

i've tried it with the plug and play kit and does'nt work. But if you have a wired controller, just make sure you install the software that enables yuo to use the xbox 360 controller ( comes with the xbox 360 controller for windows package).
